Ubiquinol

Ubiquinol is the reduced, active antioxidant form of coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), a compound naturally present in the body and crucial for energy production in cells. It plays a key role in the electron transport chain within mitochondria, which is essential for ATP synthesis – the energy currency of the body. Compared to its oxidized form, ubiquinone, ubiquinol is more bioavailable and readily utilized by the body.
